Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. First gymnast in history to achieve a score of 10 in an Olympic competition. Comaneci was spotted by Bela Karolyi, later to be the Romanian gymnastics coach at the time she was six years old. Her first competition was in The National Junior Championships which she was 13th place in the year 1969. In 1970, she was crowned champion. In 1972, during an event for communist-controlled countries' juniors before the Olympics, she took home three medals of gold. Then in 1973 and '74 she was the junior champion in all aspects. In her debut as a senior in 1975, she beat Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva. She was the five-time European champion who won four golds and one argent. In 1976 she became the world's first woman to use a backwards-double salto in order to take off the parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. As a teenager she started appearing on traveling shows like Ice Capades as a skater along with her younger sibling Nina Wayne. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on the 6th day of September, 1942 in Chicago Illinois. Carol's professional career started in the entertainment industry as a teenager. As a young girl she was an ice skater with Nina Wayne in the travelling entertainment show Ice Capades. Ice Capades was a show that featured skaters ice skating by actors.
